Helena, Montana – The Helena Regional Airport Authority awarded DGM Systems, Yellowstone Electric Co. and Amano McGann the contract to upgrade their Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS). The project was completed in March.

The Helena Regional Airport has experienced record airline passenger traffic the past few years. The airport is served by Alaska, Delta, and United Airlines. Due to this recent growth, the airlines are increasing the size of aircraft frequenting the facility. To accommodate continued growth, the Helena Regional Airport is in the process of expanding the terminal building, as well as upgrading their PARCS.

In just two weeks, Yellowstone Electric Co., in collaboration with DGM Systems and Amano McGann, installed Amano McGann’s Overture solution to meet the needs of the growing Helena Regional Airport. “The Helena Regional Airport has been very pleased thus far with the service and support we have received from this new parking lot management system”, stated Jeff Wadekamper, Airport Director. Overture entry and exit stations feature credit card pay-in-lane as well as proximity readers. A credit card pay-on-foot machine was installed in the baggage claim area to facilitate expedited egress. The Helena Regional Airport will also take advantage of NFC payment options (Google Pay and Apple Wallet) and the Overture-9100 eValidator. The eValidator is an intuitive, tabletop solution that allows the Airport to offer time, fee and/or percentage discounts for parking. Each device works with the Overture Management System, a user-friendly, web-based back office management system.
