Progress in the City of Bellevue
McGann Associates Seattle Branch office has been awarded the contract to provide a comprehensive parking management system for the City of Bellevue’s New City Hall in Bellevue Washington.
The new Bellevue City Hall, is an easy, "one-stop-shopping center" for the public. Staff from the existing City Hall campus at 11511 Main Street (including the Leavitt Building and Police Annex), and public safety functions (Police and Fire Headquarters, Eastside 911 Communications Center) will be consolidated in the new campus. Housing all major city services in one location, providing a one-stop service center for residents, will improve customer service and efficiency with McGann as their Parking Management Solution.
The Bellevue City Hall Campus includes two parking facilities one that serves for public parking and the other which serves as an employee parking. For the Public Parking facility McGann will provide automated processing of visitor parking utilizing the following lane hardware Amano Express Parc credit card exit pay and validation encoding station located within City Hall.
McGann will provide a specialized Access Control and Management System that integrates with their Human Resources Software, providing specific reporting and database fields to manage the city’s comprehensive PTS Parking Transportation System.
Among the solutions proposed the City found McGann “was focused on key issues and helped to provide solutions to operational issues”. They also found that McGann could explain the solutions “in terms all understood and were flexible in meeting City needs”, and McGann’s web based parking program “met all City ITD standards”.
